Barham's Actions speak louder than words“Actions speak louder than words. That has been Bill Barham’s rallying cry throughout the campaign.
Bill is right, he should be judged on his record:
• Passed a $435 million budget that he called prudent
• Approved an increase of 2055% to “Other Operating Expenses to create a slush fund of $6.4 million to be used for pay increases as the Freeholders deem appropriate
• Voting with the Freeholder Board 99.68% of the time
• Approving contracts for contributors to the tune of $22 million
• Accepting contributions for officials who have been arrested and charged with bribery
Actions DO Speak Louder than words. Instead of being a reformer Bill Barham has followed his party bosses and maintained the status quo in Monmouth County.
The Republicans would like voters to forget that the status quo has increased the average county tax bill by 40%, so instead of talking about ending the corruption, they distort the truth.
