Murphy to seek Saxton seat

Former Tabernacle Township Committeeman Justin Murphy says he will seek the Republican nomination for Congress in the 3rd district, according to a report in the Courier-Post.  The 41-year-old businessman will oppose Medford Deputy Mayor Christopher Myers and Ocean County Freeholder John Kelly for the seat of Rep. Jim Saxton, who is retiring after 24 years in Congress.  The seat has been held by the GOP continuously since 1884.

good

The race shouldn't be pre-picked by whomever Boss Paulsen and Boss Gilmore decide should run. Competition between candidates is a good thing -- heck, Murphy, even though he is dead wrong on Iraq and immigration, even mentioned, heaven forbid, some ideas he's running on!

He didn't just say that did he?

If hypocrisy is bliss, Mikie Martin is the happiest kid in fantasyland.  Your candidate was annointed by the most corrupt political boss in the country, yet you have the gall to lecture others about corruption.  The best thing is you don't live in the district and don't have the faintest idea what people in the district think.  By the way, reading and regurgitating Rick Perr's talking points does not qualify you as knowledgable about the district,  Neither does pillow talk.
