New Quinnipiac poll tomorrow
By EditorThe Quinnipiac University Polling Institute will release a new poll on Wednesday that includes approval ratings for Gov. Jon Corzine and U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, and on Corzine’s proposal to increase tolls on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike.
In the last Quinnipiac poll, released on December 11, 2007, Corzine had a 46%-43% approval rating, down from 49%-40% on September 25. Voters split 44%-43% on whether Corzine deserved re-election to a second term in 2009, with 41% of voters saying they would back Corzine and 31% preferring someone else.
Lautenberg had a 42%-33% approval rating in the December survey.
