Another Day, Another Lie From Rob Andrews on Iraq
Congressman's First Piece of Paid Communications Invents Iraq Withdrawal Plan That Does Not Exist
In his first piece of campaign literature, Congressman Rob Andrews once again blatantly lies about having introduced a plan 18 months ago to get our troops out of Iraq. In fact, Congressman Andrews, who co-authored the Iraq war resolution on behalf of the Bush Administration and was one of three House Democrats handpicked by President Bush to lobby his Democratic colleagues for its passage, has never introduced legislation to bring our soldiers home.
"There is absolutely no evidence that Rob Andrews introduced legislation to bring our troops home ever," said Lautenberg spokeswoman Julie Roginsky. "The only plan he can take credit for introducing is the one that got us into Iraq five long years ago."
