Pennacchio picks up more GOP endorsements

Neptune City Mayor Thomas Arnone and Tinton Falls Republican Chairman Michael Laffey today threw their support behind U.S. Senate candidate Joseph Pennacchio.

"Joe is a candidate who can unite Republicans, Democrats, and Independents and stand up for New Jersey when it counts most," said Arnone. "I am completely confident that he will beat Frank Lautenberg in November give New Jersey's families the kind of representative we deserve in Washington."

"I am grateful for the support of two of Monmouth County's most determined local leaders," said Pennacchio, a state senator representing Morris County. "We share a belief in continuing the fight against higher taxes, supporting an effective defense against all of our nation's enemies, and working to grow and expand our economy."

Well if this isn't an establishment phrase...

"Joe is a candidate who can unite Republicans, Democrats, and Independents and stand up for New Jersey when it counts most,"

We've heard this line several times before over the years, and in all cases, the republican LOST!!!!

So are we to believe that based on this phrase, the only time its ok to be a conservative is when "it counts most" and at other times, we should all lean to the left like the Democrats?

 Again, WHERE IS THE LEADERSHIP!!!!

It's Neptune City not Neptune Borough

Arnone is the Mayor of Neptune City, which is a pretty small town. He is not exactly a powerful guy in the Monmouth GOP. Although he is well liked in Neptune City and he is a pretty chill guy.
