Propp and Griffin Release TV Ad: “90 Taxes”
Spot exposes the tax-hiking careers of Herb Conaway and Jack Conners
Burlington— The campaign of Assembly candidates Brian Propp and Nancy Griffin today announced the release of its second television ad. The spot, titled “90 Taxes”, holds accountable Trenton’s Tax-Hiking Twosome, Herb Conaway and Jack Conners, for a record of over 90 tax increases.
“New Jersey is fast becoming unaffordable for the average citizen thanks to the long record of tax increases left by Herb Conaway and Jack Conners,” said Brian Propp. “They’ve gouged the taxpayers with 90 tax increases totaling almost $4 Billion since 2002. Over half the residents of New Jersey say they’d leave the state if they could, and it’s little wonder when they’re faced with Legislators who show such complete disregard for the taxpayers. We can do better.”
“Brian and I have signed a pledge never to vote for a tax increase because we know that New Jersey residents can’t afford it,” said Nancy Griffin. “Our opponents, on the other hand, simply cannot help themselves. From healthcare to homes, from cell phones to gym memberships, Herb Conaway and Jack Conners have squeezed every penny they can from the taxpayers. If you have it or need it, Herb and Jack have taxed it. With Legislators like that, it’s no wonder our state is becoming unaffordable.”
