A rarity in New Jersey: two Assemblywoman from the same district

The election of Elease Evans marks just the third time in New Jersey history that two women have represented the same district at the same time in the State Assembly.  Evans joins Nellie Pou as legislators from the 35th district.

Mary Keating Croce
and Barbara Berman, both Camden County Democrats, represented the sixth district from 1976 to 1980, and Burlington County Democrats Barbara Kalik and Catherine Costa represented the 7th district from 1982 to 1984.

And now...

Most likely Connie Wagner and Joan Voss will be selected as candidates in the 38th.

This only proves

that the BCDO found two female puppets instead of the traditional male puppets. Al this proves is that there are women equally able to be used for the political purposes of a political boss obsessed with power.
