Report: Oxley not running
By Wally EdgeThere are reports from Monmouth County that Sheriff Joseph Oxley told some party insiders today that he would not run for Republican County Chairman. Possible candidates include: Rumson Mayor John Ekdahl ; Madeline Ferraro, a former Appointments Counsel to Governor Christine Todd Whitman and now a lobbyist for Atlantic Health Sysems; former New Jersey Republican State Committee Executive Director Brian Nelson; and former Monmouth County Freeholder Edward Stominski.

Ferraro is not real, Bennett was never real, Brian Nelson is a
Ferraro is not real, Bennett was never real, Brian Nelson is a joke. The guys in this race are Jim Giannell if he wants it, Peter Carton if he wants it, and Bob McKenna if he wants it. But from what I can tell, no one who could get it actually wants it.
These other political whatever they are might as well pack it up, the GOP County Committee doesn't know them and they already went through a bad experience with another no name called Niemann.
You're not going to find answers from snarky insiders in Trenton, it's all going to go on in Monmouth with faces that have been around the party for a long time. There won't be any Johnny and Janie come latelies this time out and people have had enough of just out of college alleged professionals.
