This week's Cartoon Caption Contest

The costs of gasoline and crude oil have set records in the past few weeks. Even if oil prices decline, drivers may not see an immediate savings. So what would George W. Bush be saying here as he’s wrapped up by the hose of a gasoline pump?
Come up with a pointed caption for this cartoon and post it in the comments link below. Keep it clean (this is a family website) and keep it brief (brevity is the soul of wit). When you post, include your name and the name of the city where you live. If you wish to remain anonymous from others, simply email your caption idea to me at rob.tornoe@politicker.com. Your deadline is noon Friday.
We'll post the winner's name and caption here Saturday morning, along with several runner-ups. If you send us your name and address, we'll mail the winning writer a color print of the cartoon with the caption, signed by Rob Tornoe. Please allow at least 4 weeks for delivery.

The rules of this contest
What determines a great cartoon is not just the artist but the readers. It is us who determine when Rob is on his game and when he is off his game. Having Rob alone judge these contest does offer a complete judgement. Have the readers vote on their selection and combine that with rob's favorite three.
Also... hasn't anyone noticed that NOBODY IN NJ has ever won this thing and this doug guy from NH has won it twice...

Doug from New Hampshire won this caption contest, while Brett from New Hampshire won this one. Doug from New Hampshire did not win both of the caption contests in question.
