Democratic State Senate candidate Seema Singh had some trouble achieving at last one of her strategic objectives last weekend while campaigning at the Irish Music Festival last weekend at the Hibernian Lodge in Hamilton Township: she appeared a bit frustrated by her inability to buy some bottled water. Singh asked a volunteer manning the Guiness booth: "Is that all you sell at this fair, beer?"
In Burlington County, the newly installed heir to the Republican throne summoned GOP Municipal Chairs to a meeting on Saturday, but only about half of them showed up. Lobbyist Bill Layton is running the show these days following the resignation of Col. Michael Warner as the GOP County Chairman. In the old days, when Garfield DeMarco and Glenn Paulsen ran the show, local party leaders would not dare to skip a county leadership meeting.

Sad State
Word is that Glenn actually ran the meeting. What a sad state of affairs for the Burlington Republicans when Glenn can't get the room filled.
Glenn
Layton has to pass everything by Glenn, so isn't allowed to think for himself at all. Glenn ran the meeting this weekend, and said of the campaign this year, "Let's win it for Martha." Corruption is to be celebrated, I guess. Disgusting.
Nothing new for Singh
Singh has made a habit out of appearing frustrated and foul tempered at events. It's like the Seema Singh trademark; it's not an event until she turns up and gets frustrated at something.
Singh is working on a hat trick plus, she has made scenes in the past at the Pakistani Festival, Indo-American Festival, and Septemberfest.
Alas, there are no suprises with the same woman who rode around a golf cart during Septemberfest complaining of heat while Bill Baroni walked around greeting people.
I don't understand it, maybe she feels that people won't take notice, but it certainly has left a negative impression on people time and time again.
LET'S WIN FOR MARTHA!
That must have brought down the house!
