Showing continued momentum, Leonard Lance announced two significant endorsements from Somerset County for his campaign for the 7th Congressional district seat being vacated by Mike Ferguson, who is not running for re-election.
Somerset County Republican State Committeeman Bill Crosby and State Committeewoman Sallie T. de Barcza have endorsed Leonard Lance for Congress.
“Leonard Lance has been in the trenches fighting for conservative values and ethical integrity. His record of public service is impeccable”, Crosby stated.
“Leonard’s record of experience in solving problems and standing by his conservative fiscal principles, not just talking about it, is what sets him apart from the others in this race,” de Barcza said. “He will have an instant impact in Congress”.
“I am honored by the support and confidence of Sallie and Bill. Their endorsements reflect the significant momentum of my campaign in Somerset County,” Lance stated. “I look forward to the honor of representing Somerset County in Congress and pledge, as I always have in my career as a public servant to listen to my constituents and vote my conscience accordingly.
Bill Crosby has been a State Committeeman for 10 years and is a member of the Somerset County Republican Committee from North Plainfield, Sallie a member for 11 years and is a member and former President of the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women.
These endorsements follow the endorsement of the Hunterdon County Republican Organization, Middlesex County Republican Screening Committee, State Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean Jr. of Union County and the entire Somerset County Legislative delegation from the 16th district, State Senator Christopher “Kip” Bateman, Assembly Republican Conference Leader Peter Biondi and Assemblywoman Denise Coyle. Also on the Lance team are former Senate Presidents Ray Bateman and Frank McDermott, a former GOP Gubernatorial candidate and former Union County GOP Chairman.
Lance enjoys broad base support in his home county of Hunterdon including all 17 Republican mayors elected in towns located in the 7th Congressional District.
