Stainton is new Corzine spokesperson
By Wally EdgeLilo Stainton, a former Gannett statehouse reporter, will be Governor Jon Corzine's new Press Secretary. She will replace Anthony Coley, who became the Governor’s Communications Director in April.

Press Secretaries Gone Wild
I’m not familiar with Stainton’s work, but I hope she does a good job in this important role. It may be just politicnj.com mixing the pot a bit, but they were reporting that Coley has rubbed Codey the wrong way when the former was filling in for Corzine after his accident. Incidentally, Corzine’s former traveling press secretary, Teresa Wells, now has the same role with Edwards for President campaign.
