STATEMENT FROM BURLINGTON COUNTY GOP CHAIR DAWN LACY

Release Date: Oct 23 2007

Burlington—  The campaign of 7th District Assembly candidates Brian Propp and Nancy Griffin released the following statement from Burlington County GOP Chairwoman Dawn Lacy.

“Whomever spoke to PoliticsNJ.com’s Wally Edge purporting to convey the opinion of the Burlington County Republicans regarding the 7th District Assembly campaign was wrong.  As Chairwoman of the Burlington County Republican Committee, I would like to go on the record as saying that the BCRC has conceded nothing in this race, and we believe that we have an opportunity to elect two excellent candidates for Assembly on November 6th.  Brian Propp and Nancy Griffin are working hard to spread their message of an affordable New Jersey to the voters of Burlington and Camden counties, and it is resonating with the taxpayers who are fed up with the tax and spend record of Herb Conaway and Jack Conners.  The momentum on our side.”

Propp and Griffin continued:

“We’re pleased to have the support of Chairwoman Lacy as we move into the final weeks of this campaign.  As we campaign across the 7th District, we have heard from everyone we meet that it’s time for new leadership and real solutions in the General Assembly.  The taxpayers have had it with politicians like Herb Conaway and Jack Conners who talk about affordability at home but cast votes to raise taxes by almost $4 BILLION in Trenton.  Brian and I will fight for tax relief and responsible budgets- and that is why we will win on November 6th.”
