CONSULTANT TAKES FIGHT TO THE AIR WAVES
A cease and desist order and website weren’t enough, Kush left with no choice but to tell all about Lipski.
Jersey City, NJ (September 30, 2005) - The ongoing saga between Jersey City Councilman Steve Lipski and Steve Kush, founding partner of a political consulting firm with offices in New Jersey, West Virginia and Michigan has been getting nastier each week. Now it's worse with the launch of www.stopstevelipski.com.
The website, designed by Steve Kush, is meant to tell the truth about Lipski's "sham of a mayoral campaign" and $17,675.30 missing from the councilman's campaign finance reports in a humorous manner. The website is being noticed so much that on Monday October 3 at 9:00PM Kush will be a guest on the radio show Hudson County's Talking hosted by Pat Omelia on WNSW 1430 AM.
The controversy that started with the Councilman refusing to pay a bill and posting libelous remarks and threats on a popular Hudson County political message board has escalated with supporters from both sides using the message board for their fight.
Steve Kush said, "This is ridiculous. With all this fighting between our supporters the only thing left is to tell the world about how Lipski hid $17,675.30 in campaign finances."
"As to the website," Kush continued. "I set it up because I felt it was important people learn the truth. The campaign hid money and Lipski knows it. I have the invoices and my bank has records to prove it. StopSteveLipski.com presents the facts in a humorous manner."
Kush added, "The funny thing is if he had paid his bill I would never have reviewed my records and discovered the missing $17,675.30."
Kush stated, "The difference between us is simple. As Lipski continues to attempt to lie and spin his way out of his growing $17,675.30 mess, I am willing to take a lie detector test for any law enforcement agency or media outlet that asks, to prove every word I speak is true."
