(TRENTON) - The Hall Institute's "Virtual Debate" website - which contains detailed statements on the issues from New Jersey's U.S. Senate candidates - is experiencing a dramatic increase in traffic as Election Day approaches.

The Virtual Debate website (www.hallnj.org/virtualdebate) received 3,642 hits during the week of October 22 to 28 - more than the entire total of hits dating back to the start of the debate on July 4.

Citizen Input Reflected in Online Exchange

(TRENTON) - New Jersey's U.S. Senate candidates will respond to a series of short questions on topical state and national issues as the Hall Institute's "Virtual Debate" winds to a close.

"We have received several questions from our readers that were not reflected in our previous inquiries to the candidates," said Hall Institute Executive Director Michael P. Riccards. "Since we are committed to encouraging dialogue between and among the candidates and the public, the Hall Institute is asking the candidates to answer each of these questions in 25 words or less."
