OLIVER/QUIGLEY/GREENSTEIN BILL TO PROTECT ROADSIDE EMERGENCY WORKERS ADVANCES

(TRENTON) - Legislation sponsored by Assemblywomen Sheila Y. Oliver, Joan M. Quigley, and Linda Greenstein that would require New Jersey motorists to take specific safety precautions when approaching roadside emergency vehicles on the state's highways was released today by the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee.

SACCO-GORDON BILL ADVANCES TO PUNISH SNOW-HEAVY DRIVERS

TRENTON – The Senate today approved legislation, S-520, sponsored by Senators Nicholas J. Sacco  and Bob Gordon to impose a fine of up to $75 for drivers who fail to make a reasonable effort to remove snow or ice from their vehicles.
