Passaic, NJ According to the Federal Elections Commission, Bill Pascrell has strong ties with Donal Scarinci, the powerful North Jersey lawyers who was secretly recorded using Menendez's name to pressure a Hudson County psychiatrist to hire a doctor. Since 1997, Pascrell has received $11,200 from Donald Scarinci. Just last year, he received $2,000 from Scarinci.

Corruption scandals have been at the forefront of New Jersey politics, especially for Senator Bob Menendez this year. Pascrell’s campaign donations show that he too is involved with the same people that have shown to practice unethical behavior.

The voters of the 8th Congressional District are tired of corrupted politicians and business as usual. They deserve to know what is Pascrell’s relationship with Scarinci and with Dr. Oscar Sandoval, said Jose Sandoval, candidate for U.S. Congress (NJ-08). Pascrell needs to return Scarinci’s donations, they are tainted money. (Dr. Oscar Sandoval is not related to Jose Sandoval)

It is time to elect a leader that will listen to the voters and not special interest, and will fight for those that need it the most, added Sandoval. I know that the voters of 8th district want change and will vote for me this November.

Paterson, NJ Today, State Senator Tom Kean, Jr., candidate for U.S. Senate, and Jose Sandoval, candidate for U.S Congress (NJ-08), visited the offices of ACE Reprographic Service, Inc in Paterson, New Jersey where they spoke to employees about their plan to reduce taxes and help make New Jersey more affordable to its residents and, especially to small business owners.

New Jersey has become unaffordable. Last year, 57,000 more people left our Garden State because they couldn’t afford to own a home, raise a family or start a new business, said Kean. New Jersey is tied with three other states for the highest state sales tax. We have the fastest rate of tax increases and the highest property taxes in the nation. That’s unacceptable and it’s getting worse.

According to the Tax Foundation, a nonpartisan research group, New Jersey is having the second worst tax climate in the nation for business.

As a small business owner, I know how difficult it is to do business in New Jersey, said Sandoval. The voters want someone in Washington that will fight to reduce the tax burden and find ways to help improve our economy so no more people have to leave the state. Sandoval added, When Tom Kean and I win this November 7th, we will make sure to make tax reform our first priority.

Kean added, Contrary to our opponents, Jose and I will support making the tax cuts permanent and we will vote in favor of eliminating the Death Tax, added Kean. New Jersey can no longer afford Bob Menendez and Bill Pascrell.

Washington, DC – Tonight, Jose Sandoval, candidate for U.S. Congress in NJ-08, received strong backing from key Hispanic leaders in Washington, DC. U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (FL) and U.S. Congressman Luis Fortuño (PR) hosted a fundraising event for Sandoval at the Akerman Senterfitt law firm. Present at the event where leaders from Capitol Hill and the private sector eager to hear Sandoval’s message for change in New Jersey.
