Union Beach: LEIGH-ANN BELLEW HAS ASKED FRANK PALLONE TO DEBATE THE ISSUES AND IT HAS BEEN 18 DAYS WITHOUT A RESPONSE. WHY IS MR. PALLONE DUCKING THE DEBATES? IS HE AFRAID OF HIS RECORD?
Eighteen days ago Republican candidate Leigh-Ann Bellew invited Mr. Pallone to four debates.
“An informed voter is the one best served in Congress, says Bellew, “therefore I think every voter in the 6th district deserves the right to hear their candidates debate.
To reach as many voters as possible, Bellew has recommended a debate in Middlesex County, one in the Bay Shore area and one in southern Monmouth County. These would be in addition to the traditional League of Women Voters debate that has become so popular.
“I am a Mom on a Mission and my mission right now is to have Congressman Pallone face me and his voters and account for the time entrusted to him in Congress, says Bellew.
Bellew feels that a good representative would be proud of the record they created and look forward to public scrutiny. Pallone’s lack of response would seem to indicate a reluctance on his part to talk about his record. Could he be ashamed of it? One must wonder.

BELLEW INVITES PALONE TO DEBATE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CONTACT: Mike Lencsak Phone: 732-670-9839 info@bellewforcongress.com
Congressional candidate Leigh-Ann Bellew is inviting incumbent Congressman Frank Pallone to four debates in the 6th Congressional district where they will be opposing each other on the ballot in November. “The ballot box is not the place where voters should be making their final decision, said Bellew. “They should have as many opportunities to meet the candidates and hear their views long before they enter the voting machines.
Bellew is calling on her opponent to debate in four areas of the district in order to allow ALL of the district constituents a fair chance to attend at least one debate. She is recommending that both candidates accept the invitation of the League of Women Voters. In addition she is calling for a debate in Middlesex County, one in the Bay Shore and a final one in southern Monmouth County.
Bellew, a Mom on a Mission candidate, believes strongly that Americans should exercise their right to vote because that will ensure the continuation of a government by the people. She also believes strongly that it is only through the debate process that voters can get a real picture of what the candidates’ ideals and opinions are. “Voters need to make intelligent decisions about who is going to represent them, says Bellew. “By attending debates each voter has an opportunity to listen to and even question their candidates on issues that are personally important to them. “Political mailers tell voters what the candidate wants them to hear in short bursts of information. Debates allow both candidates and voters to explain what they intend to support or not support in the way of legislation and, most importantly, why.
