EAST BRUNSWICK

– Governor Jon S. Corzine today signed legislation establishing the New Jersey Prescription Drug Retail Price Registry, which will provide consumers with retail price information for the 150 most frequently prescribed prescription drugs in the state.

(TRENTON) -- Legislation that would give consumers the ability to comparison shop for the best value for frequently prescribed medicines by providing direct access to price and retail pharmacy information passed the General Assembly today by a vote of 72-3 with three abstentions.
