The web war on Corzine's budget

The Republican State Committee website still lists Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson as presidential candidates, but includes sharp criticism of Governor Jon Corzine’s budget address. The website for the Democratic State Committee doesn’t list the names of the vanquished presidential candidates, but also has no spin advocating Corzine’s budget message.

Hall tossed in Kentucky

Former New Jersey GOP operative Fred Hall has resigned his position as Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher's Communications Director. Hall, who managed Buster Soaries' 2002 congressional race and ran the petition drive for Robert Ray's U.S. Senate bid, has been under fire recently for using profanity in a meeting with a reporter and had to apologize to the State Chairman Chairman for comments. Fletcher, who is up for re-election next year, is under indictment on corruption charges.
