Pig Book: New Jersey ranks 43rd in pork barrel spending

$180,531,502: That’s total value of the 223 pork barrel projects secured from the federal government by New Jersey’s Congressional delegation, according to the 2008 Pig Book.

New Jersey ranks 43rd out of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, with $20.78 of pork per capita.
