Boss Gilmore, Smearing Critics Through Meehan, Lies About Opposition School Board Candidate Being “Banned” From Topic A Show

More on the John Meehan smear piece sent out four days before the Toms River School election: it’s all about covering your assets where Ocean County GOP Chairman (Boss), $600,000 TR School Board Attorney, County Election Board Chairman George Gilmore is concerned. Meehan is the Democrat flunky used by Boss Gilmore, Democrat County Chairman Wyatt Earp and School Superintendent Mike Ritacco to smear opposition school board candidate Charles Henry with an expensive mail flier from a bogus “committee” known as “Citizens for Responsible Leaders, John Meehan Treasurer.”Henry’s “crime,” it turns out, was criticizing Gilmore for his huge pay-to-play school district lawyers charges, and Ritacco for his $347,400 pension salary from the schools.

Gilmore Smears Everybody Who Criticizes His Greed

The flier is typical Gilmore-Ritacco, and tries to destroy Henry’s personal reputation because of the candidate’s status as a right-on critic of the school board’s outrageous spending and secrecy policies. Current Board is controlled by Ritacco and Gilmore who have, among other things, refused to make Gilmore’s legal fee payment records public.Meehan’s bogus allegations included a charge that Henry was “banned” for “rude and crude” language from a Sunday morning talk show “Bob Levy Topic A” WOBM-FM.The “rude and crude” part was Henry’s criticism of Gilmore and Ritacco, and the “language” charge was another figment of the Gilmore-Ritacco creative imagination.

Topic A Host Confirms Gilmore & Meehan Lied

Fortunately, somebody named “George from Toms River” called the Levy show Sunday and asked Levy whether the Meehan-Gilmore charge was true? Levy confirmed the charge was false and responded as follows: “I would never ban him. If my producer had him on the line, I would tell him to let him through.”So much for Gilmore’s credibility this week.

The school election is Tuesday 2pm to 9pm.
