Update: Unanue will drop Senate bid
By Wally EdgeAndy Unanue will drop out of the U.S. Senate race before the filing deadline on Monday, according to sources familiar with the GOP campaign. The millionaire Goya Foods heir entered the race on Easter Sunday and has captured organization lines in Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Hudson, Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties. He returned from an extended trip to Colorado today.

Wow, what a long, well thought out and elequent campaign. The most successful campaign in the race so far and he was in Colorado the entire time! This speaks volumes to the pathetic party leaders from Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Hudson, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Way to back the loser!!

There goes wisdom of the GOP organizations in Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Hudson, Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties. Is this like a half of the NJ GOP? It is more than pathetic. It is plain stupid. What about BCRO Chairman Ortiz Andy's main supporter? This guy is toasted.
Anyway, thank you for the entertainment, but no more, please. You guys (GOP Chairmen) would not even qualify for the stand up comedy in Joe's Pub.

The, so called, Republican leadership in New Jersey is now batting well below the “Mendoza Line,” and Andrew Unanue will be the latest victim of a desperate party.
Tom Wilson should hand in his resignation papers tomorrow morning at the earliest, tomorrow evening at the latest, and save the “faithful” from the embarrassment he, and other Republican bosses, have caused the rank and file of the New Jersey Republican party to suffer. What a joke.

These organizations have ashamed themselves by backing so hastily such an obviously awful candidate. Murray is the only one who has been there and is not tarnished when we will these people learn?
