It'll Be Corzine
Corzine will be the nominee. This is a no brainer.
Codey may very well challenge him in a primary but his popularity is not what it once was and Corzine's never ending campaign warchest will be more than enough to secure the nomination.
That's not to say that he'll stay the nominee if he doesn't feel like it anymore. We all know too well how easily bored Corzine gets with his public offices.

Payne's betrayal
Payne is noting but a bandwagon jumper. You don't make a committment and then change it because it looks like the other candidate is going to win. That's just outright betrayal and cowardice. He's just like the other supporters or superdelagates who have betrayed Senator Clinton. Many are probably afraid of retaliation if they support Clinton and Obama becomes President. Flip floppers beware of election time because you won't get my vote.
Depends on November
If somehow Hillary makes a comeback in the primary, and then gets elected in November, Corzine is good as gone.
Otherwise, like the post above says, his warchest will be the deciding factor.
Codey's popularity was due to the NJ media.
It is tough to say
If Corzine wants it, he will get it. If Corzine runs I doubt Codey jumps in. Andrews impending loss in June will make it difficult to make a case for him in 09.
Codey had his chance
If Codey wanted to run for Governor he had his best chance in 2005. He is no longer as prominent as he once was, and would have more trouble gaining support now than he would have then. Plus, he would never be able to match Corzine's money. If Codey wanted to be Governor, he should have jumped into the race at the height of his popularity. Instead, he caved. His time has passed.
Rastaman
I don't think Payne had a choice. His district went with Obama.
Lt Gov. Codey
I can see Dick Codey running for Lt. Gov. along side Jon Corzine. If Clinton wins presidency then Corzine goes to the white house, and I think maybe Menendez or Rothman may want in.
If Andrews loses to Lautenberg he's probably going to run anyways...
Menendez
DOesnt want Jon Corzine's job. He has had eyes on his Senate seat for a while, he is happy where he is.
