Gov. Corzine’s powerpoint presentation at the Legislative Correspondents dinner

Besides giving a shout out to Wally Edge at Wednesday's New Jersey Legislative Correspondents Association Dinner ("As Wally always says, 'Hold Me Accountable.'" ... and you know we will.) Gov. Jon Corzine had some kind words for the state's political reporters and poked fun at the Star-Ledger's Josh Margolin and their declining circulation, and the Garden State's colorful array of political characters.

Lighten up

Corzine does well with the comedy. He should lighten up a bit more the other 364 days of the year.

Off the Record?

I was under the impression that the Legislative Correspondents Dinner that assists in providing scholarships to fledgling writers was suppose to be off the record to ensure a more humorous evening.

I thing all who participated did a great job for a great cause but should this really be posted as news for public consumption? Seems like posting this powerpoint presentation is breaking the spirit of the evening.
