In Bergen, win some, lose some

Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joseph Ferriero, whose records were subpoenaed last week as part of a federal probe, was made some gains against a slate of County Committee candidates backed by State Sen. Loretta Weinberg, who held her majorities in Teaneck and Englewood, took control in Maywood, and picked up seats in Bergenfield.  Weinberg’s Englewood Council candidates prevailed against a slate backed by Ferriero and Mayor Michael Wildes.

Bob Gulack, a Weinberg ally who has announced his bid to challenge Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joseph Ferriero , lost his County Committee seat in Fair Lawn tonight.  So did Weinberg’s Chief of Staff, Debbie Fransica, who was running in Washington Township.   But her former Chief of Staff, Regina O’Neil, won a Couny Committee seat in Maywood.  Ferriero picked up seats in Teaneck, Weinberg’s home town, and in Englewood.

Bermari Roig-Eichler, an aide to Assemblywoman Valerie Huttle, a Weinberg ally, won s seat in Westwood.
