Belmar Mayor Kenneth Pringle gets how to make lemonade out of lemons. After his blog targeting summer tourists at his Jersey shore town, which poked fun at tenant s by making jokes about Staten Islander – as well as blondes and Italian-Americans – made national news, Pringle has done the mea culpa. He spent today touring Staten Island as the guest of the local tourism bureau. Now he’s getting more national press as the guy who can admit a mistake.
