Yudin couldn't find anyone from Bergen County?

Bergen County Republican Chairman Bob Yudin has named Assembly Majority Leader Paul DiGaetano as the coordinator for the 2008 Republican ticket headed by John McCain. That’s an interesting choice since DiGaetano lives in Essex County, although he represented part of South Bergen in the Legislature for sixteen years. By naming DiGaetano, who left the Legislature in 2005 to run unsuccessfully for Governor, Yudin is taking a real shot at Kevin O’Toole, the Essex County Republican Chairman and a State Senator who represents Yudin’s own district. O’Toole and DiGaetano are bitter rivals.

OH PLEASE

Many people from Bergen are already engaged in helping the Freeholders - O'Toole has his operation in Essex running for McCain so why not utilize someone very well known in an area of Bergen that is crucial for votes. You miss reporting on some news and other times like this you want to make a story were none should exist - didn't you also report sometime back Paul D. had moved to Franklin Lakes?

The Middle/ Working Class connention

If Mc Cain has a chance in Bergen it will be in those blue collar areas of D 36./ D 37/ D 38 No other Republican operative has better  "street cred" in those areas  than Digaetano.
