Nine months after James Devine, a Union County Democratic operative/newspaper publisher , was arrested for owing $20,000 in child support and alimony, he has lost his home. A Superior Court Judge today ordered the eviction of Devine from his Elizabeth apartment for non-payment of rent. Earlier this year, Democratic State Chairman Joseph Cryan described him as “a sleaze ball, the worst in politics.” MORE

Finally Will He Be OFFICIAL Loser?
One of the most absurd posts ever on Politickernj listed Devine in the "Winners of the Week" column because he had avoided being evicted!
This time that loser should be given the proper designation . . . the one he so richly deserves.
Is there any consideration being given for a vote on the "Loser of the Year?"
If so, please put up one of those "voting polls!" And, be sure to include Devine. Whether he competed against one, or one hundred one competitors, I'm betting Jimmy would finish at or very near the top!
p.s. This is the only time I can ever recall completely agreeing with Joe Cryan, without any reservation whatsoever.
Let's just remember, however, who created and long supported that creature, lo these many years ago . . . Ray Lesniak, along with his then buddy Bob Janiszewski.
