Maybe they're talking about how Frank Stallone-Pallone is a worthless schmuck who is trying to score political points by riding on a popular statewide figure's coattails and attempting to diminish and discredit his accomplishments to score brownie points.
Or perhaps they're discussing the possibility of Stallone-Pallone having some skeletons of his own and attempting to damage Christie's reputation in the event that the feds end up knocking on his door.

"I talk to Him fairly regularly and get together with him once in a while, and obviously we don't have conversations about political stuff."
