Assemblyman Louis Greenwald will not be a candidate for State Senator if John Adler is elected to Congress on Tuesday, according to South Jersey Democratic officials. Greenwald has reportedly told friends and political allies that he prefers to remain as Chairman of the Assembly Budget Committee, rather than move over to the State Senate."
If he wins, Adler would leave the Senate in January, triggering a special election convention to fill his seat. There would be a special primary in June 2009 and a special election in November 2009 to fill the remaining 26 months left on his current term.
Adler has represented the 6th district in the Senate since ousting four-term Republican Lee Laskin in 1991.

Anyone have a guess who
Anyone have a guess who will?
Moot Point
Adler is not going to Washington. He will just have to continue to torture us here in NJ.

Right on target. There won't be an opening so there is no need to speculate.

You're going to be eating those words in a few days.
My guess is Greenwald pulls an Andrews.
The Last Lie
Could this be the last lie from iamreallyacrybabyliberal oc before the election? Only if he or she does not post again. Just heard of some new poll numbers - not good for Johnny Bye Bye. Tells you something when the DCCC poll is dead even and no one will come in to help.
Source?
Once again, you do note cite a source. Typical. DCCC had Adler up by 8 a week ago.
See you in a few days.
The Limited Poll
I could have you up by 8 if I limited the polling sample to idiots and morons. The poll was limited. New poll - $3 million spent and the DCCC abandoning Adler. Congrats! Representative-elect Myers will be waiting for the phone call Tuesday night. I will definitely see you and State Senator Adler on November 5th.
