I like Christie
but he's played it a bit too political, showing up at this and that swearing in to blast dems. Plus he went way overboard to support his former aide blasting Nia Gill et all about the Supreme Court nominations mess. Crowley has a compelling Hollywood type story that will play well in suburban hoseholds. Don't know how conservative he is though, which will matter in the R Primary where all the nuts come out.
None of them are worth a hoot
A governor with low numbers and this is best that the GOP can come up with.

I like Lautenberg, but age "84", he should enjoy the balance of his years retired.
As for the potential candidates, I am not impressed with any of the GOP potentials.
The party is broke an everyone is from North Jersey. We need A South Jersey Candidate.
Show me a GOP candidate who will cut the budget in half and slash and burn his/her way through the poor management of the current governor and I will campaign for that person.
You know, if the Governor had any "Balls", he would mandate a cut in state worker hours from 40 to 24 hours, preserving their pension and medical as full time employee benefits and go more private contractor for operating various agencies and ... More Later!

The nomination is Christies or Crowleys to Lose
Lonegan ( Good Guy ) but cant win. His Local Candidates in Bogota got crushed again last night by two high school drop outs who dont own property in that town.
next years Obama Backlash
The Obama / Corzine backlash, Higher Property taxes, Cognilio and Ferriero going to jail. After this Chris Christie will be the only candidate standing.
