Codey
Why do people like this guy? I'm a Democrat, but its obvious to me that this guy is a product of Trenton. SOmeone please tell me what the heck he did as Governor that makes him so great?
SJ Blue
Codey is one of those back slapping type of old school pols that gives his fellow pols a little here and a little there. The problem is that Trenton is populated with too many Codey-ites and not enough change agents who really want to roll up their sleeves and get things done. Too many of the current crop are looking to make a buck of the system and get a couple of pr stunts under their belts so it looks like their representing their constituents when all they are really doing is lining their pockets and running as fat lazy and happy incumbents. Dick Codey has always under impressed me but people like this type of middle of the road salesman.
I googled Steven Goldstein and this guy
looks like he gets things done! He gets my vote! Maybe a smart gay rabbi can get things done in Trenton.
Can we have a choice
that isn't connected to a corrupt power broker, a machine or who is an a$$hole?
Codey...
would be a great Governor. After passing 100 tax increases, ushering through legislation to allow debt for operating expenses, jacking up spending 50%, rolling out the red carpet for McGreevey appointments, and crafting $200 million of slush funds that let legislators dole out money to whoever they wanted, isn't it obvious he is the best one for the job?
Codey is DiFrancesco all over again
Too many years in Trenton have got to include some toxic deals that will be evident once the tarnish is wiped away. If the Democrats want to replace former Wall Street CEO Corzine -- and they should!! -- it makes sense to nominate someone untainted by corrupt power brokers.
Where is the Democratic 'Mr. Smith' who can effectuate real change in Trenton? Who is unafraid of Corzine, Adubato, Norcross & Lesniak?

Cant get more Jersey than Wild Bill!
Cory Booker
Even if Corzine is the nominee in '09, Booker should still run at some point in the future. The man has done wonders for Newark.
