When will Moriarty choose one elected position and stand up for his constituents?

Washington Township- 4th District Assembly Republican candidate Agnes Gardiner is still waiting to hear from Democratic Assemblyman Paul Moriarty on whether or not he will give up one of his elected positions since the dual office ban was signed into law last week.

"The clock is ticking for the democrats, especially for the 4th District Democratic Assembly candidate, who on his website promised to fight for increased accountability and better government if he is elected. Last week, 10 of the 11 politicians who were indicted for bribery are Democrats. Two of the democratic politicians are dual office holders as Assemblymen and Mayors of their towns. When asked to stand up for your constituents and join your State Democratic Leader Joseph Cryan to call for a special legislative session before November’s election to strengthen the dual office holding ban by removing the grandfathering clause from the bill, you Moriarty do nothing. The people of New Jersey deserve better from their elected officials in Trenton. Too many times the politicians have failed their constituents," said Agnes Gardiner

Paul Moriarty has 3 jobs: State Assemblyman, Mayor of the largest town in Gloucester County, and he is a Television Commercial consultant, which at times takes him out of state. How can he do all of those jobs and be there at the same time for all of his constituents?

I am asking Moriarty to do this, not as his opponent in the race for Assembly, but because I too am one of his constituents. Since Moriarty did vote for and supported this dual office holding ban bill I feel he should choose and do the ethical thing for the constituents of the 4th District and Washington Township," concluded Gardiner.
