WISNIEWSKI URGES FISCAL RESTRUCTURING SUPPORTERS TO THROTTLE BACK
Legislator Cautions Endorsement of Plan Without Legislation
Is 'Putting the Cart Before the Horse'

(SAYREVILLE) - Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee Chairman John S. Wisniewski today urged business leaders, interest groups, academics, and other third-party professionals to hold off passing judgment on Governor Jon S. Corzine's fiscal restructuring plan until the full legislation has been introduced.

Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement:

"It is disconcerting to see so many New Jersey business and government professionals signing onto a plan that is still largely under construction.

"Potential supporters should reserve judgment until the full plan, in all of its minutiae, is unveiled.

"Anything else is simply putting the cart before the horse."
