Mayor Stack Uses Gestapo Tactics to Disrupt Press Conference
"This is the typical Gestapo tactics we would expect from a guy who wants to retain iron-fisted control of everything that goes on in this city. This is a misuse of police manpower to further the political goals of the mayor. This is America, not Nazi Germany. YOUNITY FOR UNION CITY

STACK EMPLOYS STORM TROOPER TACTICS
TO DISRUPT POLITICAL OPPOSITION
Union City NJ -- Mayor Brian Stack resorted to one of his usual hardball tactics to squash his political opposition today – sending in local police to disrupt the Younity group’s press conference this morning at which tim the group announced its slate of candidates in the May 9th City Election.
At the start of the 11:30 a.m. conference at 1501 Palisades Avenue, three Union City squad cars rolled up and demanded that the Younity candidates take down their campaign posters placed on the controversial building. The cops threatened Younity leader Frank Scarafile with a fine for putting up signs on state property. The building is owned by the School Construction Corporation.
“This is the typical Gestapo tactics we would expect from a guy who wants to retain iron-fisted control of everything that goes on in this city, said Scarafile. “This is a misuse of police manpower to further the political goals of the mayor. This is America, not Nazi Germany.
The Younity candidate said the use of the city police to disrupt a press conference was not unexpected. “We know the mayor will try to intimidate us any way he can. But he doesn’t scare us. He will only rally more support to our side.
Scarafile noted that Stack allows campaign signs to remain on numerous other SCC owned buildings in the city. “The mayor is a hypocrite as well as a bully, he said
Scarafile said the mayor is so obviously concerned about the challenge from the Younity ticket that not only did he use “storm trooper tactics to try to disrupt the press conference, but he also called a meeting at 11:30 for all public works and parks department employees to prevent any of them from seeing the political opposition.

Wow. The Nazi card. So you think that what Stack did is tantamount to murdering 6 million plus people, starting a world war, torturing enemies, doing medical tests on human beings without their consent, etc.
If you ever had a chance of getting wide support, this kind of garbage will end it.
