ZIMMER CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES AD “EMPTY RHETORIC”
- Lautenberg 24 years in the Senate and all he has to offer is empty rhetoric -
Flemington, NJ – The Zimmer for U.S. Senate Campaign launched an ad today highlighting Senator Frank Lautenberg’s record of voting for higher gas taxes. Zimmer Campaign Manager Mark Duffy issued the following statement:
At a press conference this past Monday Senator Lautenberg showed he doesn’t grasp our nation’s current energy problems. This ad highlights that after 24 years as a U.S. Senator, all Lautenberg has to offer is higher gas taxes and empty rhetoric. When he was first elected Lautenberg said we were facing an energy crisis, now it has become an energy disaster. He can try to fool voters in an election year, saying he can solve our current energy problems, but his record shows a different story.
