ZIMMER CELEBRATES 4th of JULY
-- Zimmer Highlights the Significance of Independence Day --
Flemington, NJ – Dick Zimmer, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, released the following statement on Independence Day:
“The Fourth of July celebrates our nation’s birth and renews our dedication to the universal rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We do not celebrate by sending cards or by buying gifts, but by coming together in recognition of the common bond of freedom we all share as Americans.
“Independence Day reminds of us of the historic struggle that led to the birth of our nation. The spirit of the American Revolution is still alive in our hearts. Many are disillusioned by the state of our economy, gas prices and the cost of living in our state – and rightly so. It is our hard-won democratic system and our continuing passion for freedom and liberty that keep our citizens looking forward to a brighter future.”
